On Monday I spent the day sitting outside the big university hospital in Khon Kaen, while my daughter had her annual review.
As with every hospital I've been to, parking is the challenge and I found myself still in the grounds of the university but well away from the main buildings in a tree filled shady area, that could have been miles from anywhere.
I took a few photos of some old ongs, or Isaan waterpots, that were sitting looking very out of place in the middle of a forest area. I liked the composition and contrasting colours, so decided to add them here.
The hospital bottom centre, and this natural area is that green space at the top, after all those buildings.
We have three of these pots as features in our home gardens such as this one.
Thanks for reading.
