Yesterday we called into one of the few places around locally where you can watch pots being made on-site. They also make larger pots for display rather than just practical garden pots. Their stocks were down but still a reasonable choice. You will pay 1,000s for the big pots so don't expect cheap, cheap.
Clay being prepared to start making into pots. Chunks of clay and cement are added to this machine that pushes out this sausage shaped roll. This is cut to size for the item to be made.
In the unlikely event someone reading this wants to visit this shop on highway 210 between Udon Thani and Nong Bua Lamphu, please let me know in the comments and I will get coordinates for you.
Thanks for reading.
